1. I borrowed my mom's phone once, and received a text meant only for her. I thought I caught mom cheating with another man. I regret digging my nose in, because it turns out my parents secretly had an open marriage, and the guy was seeing both of my parents.
2. My mom is a college professor, and attends conferences throughout the year. Last year my dad started buying new shirts, cologne, etc. as soon as she'd leave town. I decided to follow him on one of his errands, and he was meeting up with one of her students. The girl is only three years older than me.
3. My dad often leaves work late, as he's done since I was a kid. One day I decided to stop by his office with some food, on the way to dropping off my own kids at their music lessons. I walked in far enough to overhear him with the secretary. I am so glad I left the kids in the car.
4. Mom has always complained about dad not being home for us, working, late, etc. She really didn't like it when he spent any time with his buddies, even when he'd invite her along. She had me convinced he was cheating on her. It turns out he was innocent, just a workaholic. She, however, was having multiple affairs, and finally got pregnant by one of them. Now I live with dad, and she has a new family. We are all much happier.

Mom had difficult pregnancies and had her tubes tied after my little brother was born. I told her that night, but she didn't believe me. The next morning I heard them outside fighting, but he had already disposed of the evidence. They didn't speak of it again, and stayed together another 5 years. He ended up leaving mom to start a new family with his young mistress.
6. I skipped school one day and saw dad kissing a woman at a restaurant during his lunch break. When I confronted him about it that night, he offered me money to keep quiet. I got him up to $800, and told mom anyway. Dad's indiscretions paid off my car.

They had been high school sweethearts, but he left for college and mom stayed here and fell for his brother. At my 12th birthday party, I walked into the house and saw them kissing. I kind of just froze there, long enough to see her push him away and say that she can't, she loves my dad now, then walk off crying. They never knew I saw. I never said anything.

I've lived at home since college, looking for the right job. Little-bro makes me do his chores sometimes and buy him candy or toys, in exchange for his silence. He doesn't know it's not a one time thing, and that I've been doing a lot more with his mother than just kissing.
